be happy snorkel & fish here in key west with me

Amazing the truly happy faces I face on these adventures off the island of Key West. I guess most people don't boat that much and vacation time will put a smile on any ones face. I had a ball out on the ocean today and saw lots of cool stuff you don't see much, took a video and few pictures wanna see.

easter sunday was a gift it was the oceans best

we loved the calm sea, the sky was blue and the water nice and clear. It was neat to watch a Goliath grouper camouflaged with capt chucks donut, he just blended in. My donut is a round coal formation to swim under, it is 12 feet deep if you swim under the base of it. You will be surprised at what you might run into underneath it, stuff like big fish, you would love it. [click on pic to enlarge]

A friendly turtle hung out with us, we all had cameras and bonded with this friendly healthy sea turtle swimming amongst us.

Fishing was out standing, three twelve year old boys, landed many fish one lad single handed landed this nice barracuda, his eager friends helped out with the net.

green calm ocean rolls out like a carpet under us

Super fun ahead as my smiling eyes looked out into the abyss, that never ending horizon as we headed out to on the Delphine. This is sweet, what a grand feeling of freedom, a lawyer who came out on the Delphine with once had said to me ,that his boss said to him that we live in 24 carrot bird cages. If you feel like that come join me in this freedom from your own personal cage. Kicks ass be free and soar with me on the sea.
It was family fun all day youngsters ages 8 through 12 years old slammed fish like pros with little teaching. It was once said give someone a fish, feed them for a day, teach them to fish and they can eat for life. These youngsters where great their family's would never go hungry with these kids around.

Snorkeling was bit foggy, but managed to snap a few shots for you guys. Had a shipmate that's on TV all the time, its neat to have a TV personality out on my yacht, she said her husband and her liked my web site.

what makes a snorkel awsome apposed to ok

Splish, splash we kicked are way over to the reef, it was a bit foggy still from the past weeks heavy winds. These winds brought big waves and stirred up the Atlantic some. There was a turtle hanging out that's always a treat, but it was great to see two massive spotted eagle rays, that's to cool, my shipmates and I swam with them for 5 minutes or so and they did not seem to mind us one bit. Its clear why they are called eagles, you would understand if you swam with the and watched as they magnificently sore through the sea with such amazing grace and beauty. We saw a balloon fish, I love their big eyes there so human like, then next came a trumpet fish who stood on his head nibbling on something. They are shaped like a tree branch and mighty peculiar fellows. We saw tons more neat nature stuff, the ocean world sure blows your mind, come freak on this stuff with me sometime. Give me a ring ,its a blast ,oh yeah slammed a bunch of yellow tails fishing later in the morning.
