The water was refreshing we were all super ready for the "Neste tea" plunge. The sun beat down piercing through the water overpowering it and even some of the sea life had to get out of the key west sun. Yellow tail snapper over ran the boat, keeping us real busy, we had the big one on for a bit. We had some fun with a small cuda, amazed after looking at a huge scar, that he actually healed up from. I guess us catching him finally used up one of his nine lives. He swam off the happiest cuda in key west.

mirror of waterr that all of key west could be seen on
The snorkel was outstanding a lot of big fish were swimming about, most you could see without even going in. Today was the first day of lobster season, the water was clear enough that the lobster men practically could look down and see if there was any lobster in their traps. A friendly sea turtle came over and showed me he was not afraid of me at all, he recognizes me from past encounters, the times we meet before. This time his brother was around and said hi to us . The fishing was great bunch of yellow tails all around. We hooked up with a barracuda while taking a dip, one snorkeler made haste back to the boat to reel him in. One fearless snorkel party was happily swimming off the stern, they enjoyed the bait fish being cast next to them. This gave them a close up look at cuds chasing our bait fish, wanting, hungry, teased, huge barracudas surrounding all of them chasing the fish cast by them. Only one out of ten goes in at the end of my trip, these folks loved jumping in at the end. Are you one out of nine that does not decide to fish, instead you will swim in fish infested waters, find out .

keys awsome comfortable day snorkeling & fishing
The reef had its usual breathtaking beauty, we were diving with a nurse shark, his alarmed look as we meet face to face was priceless. I watched as battled hungry shipmates quenched their thirst, fighing barracuds who put up good fights loving every minute of it/. We caught quite a few cudas, a vampire fish, and a sea monster who was quite friendly he swam off a bit winded.

reef fish scurried about like a busy shoping mall day
The great Atlantic ocean showed my charter people and I some neat stuff. We looked right into a large sea turtles eyes in the morning, usually they swim under right away but we lucked out, this one was at ease with us I guess it felt comfortable, he sure was huge. Then we had a double header in the afternoon which brought us some neat fish, anyone who wanted a fish took one home the bucket stayed full of fish all day long. A nice breeze kept us cool. Dolpins made their appears now and then.
A wild, bold snorkeling fishing , exciting day we had .

not shy jack croeval hung with us for some time
we all splashed gently into the tranquil clear water at my spot, we went armed with cameras, our plan, take some pictures and leave only bubbles. We swam to the bow down on the mooring line holding the boat, playing there was a jack coeval, they all photographed. I forgot my chip. Next there was a ocean trigger flapping about we all enjoyed watching and photographing, then we were startled when a huge tarpon swam near us, later a sting ray made an appearance. I watched as a huge school of fish cowered away with hungry jacks nipping at there tails it was a way cool swim. The fishing started with some yellow tails and lead into some fun battles for the gals on board when each found themselves battling with a powerful and very fast fish. I was shocked when one fish we had on a reel jumped dam near 50 feet. We saw really big fish jumping all day, nice thing is we all saw each of the fish rocketing through the air, that's not always the case. The shear speed of the barracuda, it's shinny silvery body bolting through the air, its a neat sight to see so come see for yourself, give me a jingle.

embaced by the warm sea levitating above the reef
The Sambo smiled at us today swimming through her kingdom of magnificence, bright colored fishes like flowers in a mural of sea splendor. We chatted for a moment while treading water, I said wow, did you see that's 165 pound tarpon and everybody yelled out, but did you see this. Its so cool that you can be right next to one another and still see stuff no one else saw. You find out for sure, when we chat later on it always amazes me, the things people see in this magical part of the sea, off key west defiantly good to have a camera. The fishing was interesting a giant green moray eel was brought to the boat the ladies prefed not to admit his slithering slimmy fish aboard the yacht Delphine. A huge fish came up behind the yacht and ate our live bait fish, unfortunately he bit of a steel wire leter, next time I will bring out the real heavy stuff. Bite that off Mr big fish. Come join me and watch the big fish not succeed, instead be our tropy photo opp. I am installing a three hundered pound cargo winch, you will look great standing next to him join me.
