Keys officials on oil threat: Relax and get the facts
Despite models that predicted oil should already be washing up in the Florida Keys by now, the beaches of Monroe County are still untarnished by crude. A packed Memorial Day Weekend proved that in the short run, Keys tourists were getting that message.
