blue water and fun in the sun on the yacht delphine

Its cool swimming the same reef era and meeting up with other creatures who enjoy the same reef all the time, like this Goliath grouper. He is one of my favorites, he hangs out in the same place as if it was the front porch of his house.

real fun at sea not a huge tourist group squacking

I feel bad for the folks going out on the tourist boats lately after chatting with someone who went on a snorkel trip, she said the water was foggy and they saw next to nothing. I told her I went snorkeling, also the same day and it was clear blue water and saw tons. Its because the blue water a lot of times does not reach the reef areas that the tourist boats go to, that's near their location on the other side of the island.
Fishing was non stop thrills, ever minute just about it seemed was exciting fish catching filled with energy. Watched a 9 year old single handed bring this 40 pound monster aboard, was way cool to oversee. Dad jumped in with a net and mom handed out lots of encouragement, the young lad feeling like a hero in his parents eyes. Its neat how boating brings the family together. my folks had a sailboat and as a young lad I experienced lots of days bonding with my brother and sister, seeing many ports with mom and dad with the sea below our feet.

Why not let your family embrace one another aboard the Delphine off Key West.

telling a story aboard the delphine at sea

All right, the clear water was in at the reef regardless of all the wind we have been having lately. Right off the bat we found ourselves with a handsome nurse shark lounging in the ocean breeze. We spotted tons of angels in pairs, they mate for life. It's funny how they look so much like one another, lovebirds.

We caught a nice sunset on our way back in.

Fishing was fun, having huge fish tease us all day, but we did bring home half dozen smller fish for the tarpon. Feeding them at night, that's a thrill having a 200 plus pound fish eat out of your hand in the dark, believe me there's no missing them when they snatch dinner from your fingers with there mouth.

be happy snorkel & fish here in key west with me

Amazing the truly happy faces I face on these adventures off the island of Key West. I guess most people don't boat that much and vacation time will put a smile on any ones face. I had a ball out on the ocean today and saw lots of cool stuff you don't see much, took a video and few pictures wanna see.

whicked windy experiance every ounce of ocean fun

wide eyed and fired up we headed out to the reef and had a nice dip. We saw lots of fish that were enjoying the nutrients emulating from this giant live natural being nestled in here in paradise. Fishing was cool, landed 20 or more fish and three groupers.
